We’re a BAPTA Semi-Finalist!

We are delighted to announce that we are Semi-Finalists for the Bournemouth and Poole Tourist Awards with the final being held next month! Our thanks go to BAPTA, Route PR and Oceana Hotels for choosing our event for ‘The Creative Concept of the Year Award’.

Ambassadeur Art’s concept was to create Bournemouth’s biggest ever public street art project. This took place on the prominent Pier Approach in the shape of a massive mural of a superhero being painted onto the paving in front of the pier itself. Thanks to our artists, Iain Alexander, Dairo Vargas along with Merik Lucan and the Arts University students who teamed up with the Gallery and worked together to create this fantastic sight.

We would also like to thank Bournemouth Tourism, Bournemouth Council and the Seafront Team for their invaluable help in making this possible and to the Mayor for unveiling Bournemouth’s biggest street art project!

The result was an art installation that all the community and tourists could visit and enjoy both whilst it was being created by artists working ‘live’ on the mural and after its’ completion joining in with the holiday atmosphere, wearing super-hero costumes and receiving ice creams from the team that produced the work. Take a look at our blog for more details.
